Power architecture

One supply, a run of zones.

High voltage travels to a conveyor-mounted supply box; only short 24 V cordsets leave it, chaining module to module. Both models share the same supply, connectors, and cabling — the lower-current model simply reaches further.

24 V made locally

At 24 V, voltage drop — not current — caps cable length. High voltage runs the distance to a conveyor-mounted box; only short 24 V cordsets leave it.

One circuit, three modules

The power cordset gangs three pins per rail at ~6 A each. Three MDX230 modules draw ~18 A across the 20 A circuit and series-chain straight through — no separate power trunk.

Reach on the same circuit

Same 20 A circuit, same connectors: MDX230 runs three modules, and the lighter 4 A MDX220 reaches four — so a denser line needs no different power hardware.

// Recommended continuous loading per 20 A circuit: MDX230 three modules (18 A), MDX220 four (16 A); two circuits per supply box. Connector/wire ceiling is higher but not advised for continuous conveyor duty.
